Our entire family is directly involved in all that we do. Evita and Steven Brown have worked extensively in the natural resources industry for the past two decades.
We believe that sustainability must permeate our mindset throughout society, and that requires starting at a young age. We get our kids involved, so they understand how the world works and what can be done to create a better society. Moreover, a child's perspective is an essential ingredient of sustainability, as they naturally have a longer planning horizon than adults.
Our name
"Terra Mater" is the goddess "mother earth" in ancient roman mythology. Our earth, like a mother, provides for all we need. But as our mother cares for us, we too must care for our mother.
